“Close your eyes and tell me: what you would ask for if you could have anything?” Be prepared to hear every child say rugby boots that fit, netball shoes with no holes, and some variation on my own ball… as the only answers.

Sport is such a huge part of life in Fiji. Watching them play, it is clear why so many Aussie sports stars hail from these beautiful islands. They play hard, no tears, no refs, no supervision. It’s wicked cool.

So we aim to help them out in their sporting passion on this project. Donate second hand gear that you have, use mates as your sports teams’ charity for the year and fundraise to support to Vusu Raiders rugby and netball teams in Namatakula, donate money to help us take over boots and canvas shoes that fit.

Not having the right gear is a barrier for entry to a lot of kids. They don’t want to go with no boots cause it’s embarrassing, so they miss out… not on our watch!
